In these Terms and Conditions, the webshop is referred to as “DisplayLager”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through DisplayLager’s webshops, including displaylager.eu, displaylager.dk, displaylager.de, displaylager.se and any other DisplayLager webshops operated by Dansk Skilte Inventar A/S.
The Terms also apply to purchases made by e-mail, phone or other direct ordering method, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
DisplayLager sells to both private consumers and business customers.
If you purchase as a private consumer, mandatory Danish and relevant EU consumer protection rules apply.
If you purchase on behalf of a company, public institution, association or other professional entity, the purchase is considered a business purchase.
You can order goods through our webshop or by contacting us by e-mail or phone.
When you place an order through the webshop, you will normally receive an automatic order confirmation by e-mail.
A binding agreement is only formed when DisplayLager has accepted the order, issued a final order confirmation or dispatched the goods.
DisplayLager reserves the right to reject or cancel an order in case of pricing errors, typing errors, technical errors, out-of-stock products, credit-related matters, supplier failure or other circumstances that make delivery unreasonable or impossible.
If a price is obviously incorrect and you should reasonably have noticed the error, DisplayLager is not obliged to deliver the product at the incorrect price.
Prices are shown depending on whether you purchase as a private consumer or as a business customer.
For consumer purchases, prices are generally shown including VAT.
For business purchases, prices may be shown excluding VAT.
Shipping costs, fees, surcharges and other costs are shown in the webshop, quotation or order confirmation before you complete the purchase.
DisplayLager reserves the right to make price changes and to correct errors in prices, product information, taxes, duties, exchange rates and supplier information.
DisplayLager offers the payment methods shown in the webshop or in the individual quotation.
This may include:
· Visa/Dankort
· Visa
· Mastercard
· MobilePay
· bank transfer
· EAN invoice
· invoice by agreement
When paying by bank transfer, you may not be covered by the same chargeback protection as when paying by card.
For card payments, the amount is normally reserved when the order is placed. The amount is generally charged when the goods are dispatched.
For custom-made products, printed products or customer-specific products, the amount may be charged in full or in part before production begins, as the product is made specifically for the customer.
For invoice sales to business customers, the payment term stated on the invoice or order confirmation applies.
In case of late payment, DisplayLager may charge default interest in accordance with the Danish Interest Act from the due date.
DisplayLager may also charge lawful reminder fees, debt collection fees and recovery costs.
For business purchases, DisplayLager may additionally charge the statutory compensation amount applicable from time to time under the Danish Interest Act for late payment.
DisplayLager reserves the right to require full or partial prepayment, including for custom-made products, print orders, larger orders or customers without approved credit.
We use secure payment solutions and encrypted connections when payment is made through the webshop.
Card details are normally processed directly by the payment provider and not by DisplayLager.
DisplayLager does not store full card details.
Delivery is made to the countries and addresses available in the webshop or stated in the order confirmation.
Stock items without print ordered before 14:00 CET on business days are normally dispatched on the same business day. This is not a guarantee, and in some cases dispatch may take place later.
For delivery addresses in Denmark, the delivery time for stock items is normally 1-2 business days after dispatch.
For deliveries outside Denmark, the delivery time may be longer and depends on the country, carrier, customs conditions, product size and selected delivery method.
Delivery times are indicative unless a specific delivery time has been expressly agreed in writing.
For products with print, custom production or other customer-specific adaptation, delivery time depends on the product, production capacity, proof approval and receipt of print-ready files.
Indicative delivery times for printed products are normally calculated from the time we have received a print-ready file and any required proof approval.
As an indicative starting point:
· posters and roll-ups up to 150 cm wide: 3-5 business days
· roll-ups over 150 cm wide: 7-10 business days
· beach flags, event flags and textile prints: 7-10 business days
· print on aluminium composite panels: 3-6 business days
· foil for signs, pavement signs and exhibition walls: 3-11 business days
Delivery times for printed products are indicative, and delays may occur.
If you need faster delivery, this must be agreed with customer service before or in connection with the order.
Shipping costs are shown in the webshop, checkout, quotation or order confirmation.
Shipping costs may vary depending on country, weight, volume, product length, pallet shipment, special transport, delivery to islands or other special delivery circumstances.
For delivery to non-bridged islands, Greenland, the Faroe Islands or other special destinations, special shipping prices, surcharges and longer delivery times may apply.
For deliveries outside Denmark, local customs rules, import charges, taxes, duties or other costs may apply. Such costs are payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the customer chooses delivery without signature, leave-at-address delivery or another special delivery agreement with the carrier, this is generally at the customer’s own risk once the goods have been delivered according to the selected delivery method.
For consumer purchases, the risk in the goods passes to the customer only when the goods have been delivered to the customer or to a person chosen by the customer to receive the goods.
For business purchases, the risk in the goods passes to the customer when the goods are handed over to the carrier, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You must inspect the goods and packaging upon receipt.
If the packaging is visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend that you immediately inform the carrier and contact DisplayLager as soon as possible.
Visible transport damage must be reported to DisplayLager as soon as possible.
If damage is discovered only after receipt, you must contact DisplayLager as soon as possible.
DisplayLager may require documentation in the form of photos of the packaging, shipping label, damage and product.
For business purchases, failure to report transport damage in time may result in the customer losing the right to make a claim.
Custom-made products, customer-specific products and print orders may require full or partial prepayment.
Custom-made products include, but are not limited to, products with print, customer-specific dimensions, custom design, processing, assembly, foiling, sign production or other individual adaptation.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that submitted material, files, logos, text, images, colours, measurements and proofs are correct.
DisplayLager does not check spelling errors, design errors, measurement errors, image quality, colour choices, copyright issues or other content-related errors unless this has been separately agreed in writing.
The customer warrants that the customer has all necessary rights to material submitted to DisplayLager, including logos, images, fonts, trademarks and other intellectual property.
The customer shall indemnify DisplayLager against any claims, losses and costs arising from the customer’s lack of rights to submitted material.
Minor colour differences between screen display, print file, proof and finished product are not considered defects.
If you purchase as a private consumer, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing through the webshop.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a person chosen by you to receive the goods takes physical possession of the goods.
If you have ordered several goods in one order and the goods are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you or a person chosen by you to receive the goods receives the last item.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify DisplayLager clearly before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
You can notify us by contacting:
E-mail: sales@displaylager.eu
Phone: +45 70 20 90 96
For purchases made through the webshop, you may also use the digital withdrawal function on the webshop.
You may also use the standard withdrawal form at the end of these Terms and Conditions, but this is not required.
You cannot withdraw from the purchase simply by refusing to receive the goods without also clearly notifying us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or goods that have been clearly personalised.
This includes, among other things:
· products with print
· products with customer-specific dimensions
· custom-designed products
· products with individually adapted colour, shape, text, logo or graphics
· custom-made signs, banners, foils, panels and similar products
· goods that by their nature are not suitable for return, where the exception follows from applicable law
When ordering custom-made products, you accept that production may begin after order placement or proof approval, and that the right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to the custom-made product.
When you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
The goods must be sent to:
DisplayLager
Solbakken 22
6500 Vojens
Denmark
E-mail: sales@displaylager.eu
You must include or clearly state your order number so that we can identify the return.
You pay the return shipping costs yourself unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
You are responsible for the goods until we have received them back.
We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery or parcels without delivery to our address unless agreed in advance.
Goods must be returned properly packaged. We recommend returning the goods in the original packaging where possible.
For oversized goods, pallet goods and other larger products, return shipping costs may be significantly higher than ordinary parcel post.
As a consumer, you may inspect the goods in the same way as you would be able to in a physical shop.
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
If the goods have been put into actual use, damaged, installed, altered or handled beyond what is necessary, DisplayLager may deduct the reduction in value from the amount refunded.
Missing or damaged original packaging may, depending on the circumstances, result in a reduction in value if the packaging is important for the value of the goods or the possibility of resale.
If you withdraw from your purchase as a consumer, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs.
However, we will not refund additional delivery costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery we offered.
The refund will be made no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided documentation that the goods have been returned.
The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Business customers do not have an automatic right of return or right of withdrawal.
Returns from business customers are only accepted by prior written agreement with DisplayLager.
DisplayLager assesses return requests on a case-by-case basis, including the product type, condition, packaging, age, defect, damage, resale value and other relevant circumstances.
Approved return goods must be returned unused, properly packaged and in substantially the same condition as upon delivery.
DisplayLager may charge a return handling fee of up to 15% of the product price and may deduct shipping costs and other direct costs.
Custom-made products, printed products, customer-specific products, specially sourced products and products that can no longer be sold as new are normally not accepted for return.
If you purchase as a private consumer, you have a 2-year right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
This means that you may complain about defects in the goods that existed at the time of delivery or where the cause of the defect existed at the time of delivery.
The complaint right does not cover defects, damage or wear caused by incorrect use, lack of maintenance, accidents, vandalism, incorrect installation or other damaging conduct.
You must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect.
If you complain within 2 months after discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.
If the complaint is justified, you may, depending on the circumstances, be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase under the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund reasonable shipping costs related to the return of the goods.
For business purchases, the customer must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and notify DisplayLager without undue delay if the customer wishes to rely on a defect.
Visible defects, shortages or transport damage must be reported immediately upon receipt.
Hidden defects must be reported immediately after the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect.
For business purchases, claims cannot be made later than 12 months after delivery unless mandatory law provides otherwise or otherwise agreed in writing.
Complaints and defect claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
A complaint only covers defects that existed at the time of delivery or are caused by circumstances for which DisplayLager is responsible.
DisplayLager is not liable for defects, damage or functional issues caused by:
· incorrect or unsuitable use
· incorrect installation or placement
· lack of maintenance
· normal wear and tear
· weather exposure beyond what the product, by its nature and specifications, can reasonably be expected to withstand
· storms, strong wind, frost, moisture, sun fading or other external influences
· vandalism, impact, accidents or other physical damage after delivery
· modifications, repairs or adjustments made by the customer or a third party
· use contrary to the product’s purpose, instructions or specifications
Products used outdoors must be installed, secured and maintained properly, taking into account local weather conditions, surface, placement and use situation.
Outdoor products may be affected by wind, weather, UV light, temperature changes and ordinary use. Such circumstances are not considered defects unless there is a documented production defect or material defect.
If a complaint is justified, DisplayLager may, depending on the circumstances, remedy the defect, replace the product, offer a proportionate price reduction or credit the product, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
DisplayLager has the right to inspect the product, including requiring photos, documentation or return of the product, before deciding on the complaint.
For business purchases, DisplayLager does not cover costs for dismantling, reinstallation, operating loss, loss of profit, consequential damage or other indirect costs unless this has been agreed in writing or follows from mandatory law.
If a complaint from a business customer turns out to be unjustified, DisplayLager may charge the customer for inspection, handling, shipping and any return of the product.
Product images, descriptions, measurements, colours, materials and other information are indicative.
DisplayLager reserves the right for minor deviations in colours, measurements, materials, surfaces, product design and packaging.
Such minor deviations are not considered defects if the product otherwise corresponds to what was agreed and can be used for its ordinary purpose.
If DisplayLager offers a price guarantee, buyer protection, trust marks or similar schemes, the terms, limitations and procedures of the specific scheme apply as stated on the webshop at the time of purchase.
Such schemes only apply to the extent they are actively shown on the webshop at the time of purchase.
Any guarantees or trust schemes do not limit the rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
DisplayLager retains ownership of delivered goods until full payment has been received.
For business purchases, the retention of title also applies to all claims Dansk Skilte Inventar A/S may have against the customer as part of the ongoing business relationship, to the extent valid under applicable law.
For business purchases, DisplayLager is not liable for indirect loss, operating loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of data, consequential damage or similar indirect financial loss.
For business purchases, DisplayLager’s total liability cannot exceed the invoice amount for the specific product or order to which the claim relates.
The limitation of liability does not apply in cases of intent, gross negligence, product liability, personal injury or other circumstances where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
DisplayLager is not liable for failure or delay in performance if this is caused by circumstances beyond DisplayLager’s reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to, strikes, lockouts, war, terrorism, natural disasters, fire, flooding, pandemics, government intervention, cyberattacks, IT breakdowns, power outages, transport disruptions, supplier failure, shortage of goods or other extraordinary circumstances.
All material on DisplayLager’s webshops, including text, images, product data, graphics, logos and design, belongs to Dansk Skilte Inventar A/S, DisplayLager or their suppliers and may not be copied, used or distributed without written permission.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that goods purchased from DisplayLager are used lawfully and are not exported, resold or used in violation of applicable export control, sanctions rules or other relevant legislation.
DisplayLager may reject or cancel orders if DisplayLager assesses that delivery may be contrary to applicable law, sanctions rules or trade restrictions.
DisplayLager processes personal data in accordance with DisplayLager’s applicable Privacy Policy.
